Our story

My name is Max and I am the founder of Primal Beard. The journey started in 2017 when I  decided to grow my beard and with that came the need to find products to promote growth, to nourish, to shape and style my beard.

After extensive searching I couldn't find products that were all natural, high quality and yet affordable, and after speaking to men in my community I realised I wasn't the only one looking for good quality and affordable beard products. Thats where the inspiration to create my own beard care line came from.

For months I compiled researches on the beard product market, worked late nights testing different combinations and formulations, to create the kind of products that I not only use myself, but was proud to present to family and friends, and later on a small circle of clients.

That is how Primal Beard was born. From following my passion and now extending it to men all over South Africa, to help them grow and maintain the beard they deserve.
